Editing like pro on your phone like you never done before
Long gone are the days where video editing has to take hours and involve your Mac. Thanks to the iPhone and iPad, I’ve put together some awesome, professional-looking video. Depending on what your needs are, and how much control you want over the process, these are currently the best video editing apps I’ve found for iPhone and iPad.
iMovie
Considered a benchmark release on iOS, and impressively similar to the Mac desktop version, iMovie should be on every iOS device. The app makes it ridiculously easy to splice together shot footage, but there’s a lot more to it than that.
You can also use it to add titles, music, voiceovers and photos to your work of art - and if you want to cheese it up, take your pick from a bunch of TV-style templates and movie trailer themes. With recent Apple kit, it’ll even deal with 4K.
Splice
Given its impressive feature-set, you might sit down with Splice and wonder what the catch is. This entirely free (and ad-free) app enables you to import and arrange your clips, each of which can be individually edited.
You can add text, transitions, and filters; speed can be adjusted; and there are three audio tracks (including one for voiceovers). Destructive trimming within clip edits is the only real niggle, otherwise it's a great.
Splice is a free version of award winning Splice Video Editor paid app. This free iPad video editor let you easily splice together HD photos and videos into a good looking movie for playing on iPad or sharing online. It provides you with features very close to a full video editing software on computer, including background music, sound effects, transitions, borders, motion effects, trim video and audio, voiceover, and much more. In a word, Splice is highly recommended to edit video and make movies on iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
Quik
Just like its name promises, you need just a few taps to create an awesome video on your iPhone. All you need is to just choose your favorite video clips and photos from your library and you are done with your video. Within a matter of seconds, this app analyzes your footage and adds beautiful transitions and effects, that all syncs to the beats of the music. Not only this, the app allows you to choose from the different video styles through which you can customize your video according to the theme of your video. You can also add your perfect soundtrack, texts and more. Creating videos had never been so fun and easy.
FiLMiC Pro
It's a sophisticated app, but FiLMiC Pro is the number one app for video recording on the iPhone, if you want a full manual control over what you record. Completely reworked with Swift, FiLMiC Pro allows you to change the bit-rate, add stabilization and zoom smoothly, and it also supports the new Telephoto camera on the iPhone 7 Plus. Of course, you can separately set your focus and exposure points, as well as lock the focus, you can adjust audio levels, view a histogram, tweak your exposure and so on. FiLMiC Pro also makes it easy to record in a different aspect ratio than the standard 16:9. If you want that more cinematic look, you can use it to record in the Cinemascope standard (2.59 : 1), Super 35 or Letterbox. The latest version of the application also allows you to start and stop a recording with your Apple Watch

This way, you can repurpose longer videos—from your brand’s YouTube library, for example—and create more robust content without having to continually stop and start the camera.
ReplyDeleteApple Clips is a video editing app that lets users create and share short videos complete with special effects, text, and graphics.
